Mi8 six decades
The Mi8 Hip made its first flight on 24th June 1961 (photos courtesy of Russian Helicopters JSC)





So over the years I have had the pleasure of seeing the Mi8 and Mi17 variants from likes of Farnborough 2016, Heli Russia 2017, Dubai Air Show 2017 and Austrian AirPower 2019.
