Gate 1-3 are off the former duty free shop located in a prefabricated building made of wood. The building was only meant to be temporary but seems to have lasted at least 40 years.
This photo shows the entrance to the former duty free shop and was once covered in carpet with an abundance or chairs.
The former departure lounge is now just a featureless corridor with the old duty free shop entrance to the right
The former duty free shop now containing gates 4-7 with gates 1-3 out of sight to the left. It feels somewhat unloved.
Just my opinion but this photo from the 90's looks more inviting than the above 2 photos. Why did they remove all the chairs, as I think it contained more seating than today's departure lounge.
