Both jets flews to ST Mawgan. The 757 went direct, while AF1 went oop norf around Manchester and then down over Wales. Promptly turned left over Dorset and meandered toward the Isle of Wight before tuning back for a scenic run along the Channel coast.
Looking at todays arrivals, can anyone explain why they all seem to do a hold overhead the airfield at arounbd 5-6000' ? I'd have expected them to be afforded the benefit of a straight in approach.
