Hi All….With regard to the Potus visit to the UK,so far 31 C-17 movements have been logged that I know about, although some airframes have made several trips! Alongside that there have been the KC-130,MV-22 and VH-3 moves.
Potus is due into Mildenhall on AF1,(82-8000), around 19-20. Before that SAM46,(C-32 09-0016) should arrive around 18-50.
E4B Nightwatch “Grim 99”,(74-0787) is currently following the above…..the flight plan seen for this has it coming up over Cornwall then east towards Farnborough and ends at Ockham! However the E-4B is flightplanned into Mildenhall for 21-30,so the assumption is being made that it will “hang around” while Potus travels from Mildenhall to Newquay! AF1,(B747), is apparently staying at Mildenhall for the duration of this visit and the Mildenhall-Newquay-Heathrow-Mildenhall sectors will be done by AF1, but using the C-32!

Another interesting sighting that some may get to see are B-52s transiting over southern UK either west to east in the mornings or visa versa in the afternoon evenings! These are aircraft currently deployed to Moron,Spain and are on “Baltops” missions,(Baltic operations), It is assumed that they are not permitted through French/Belgian airspace and so they route up through the Bay of Biscay and over the southern edges of the UK. On Monday, one of the returning missions routed over Dover, then Heathrow then over Salisbury before turning southwest…all at around fl250…. Today, they clipped the southern parts of Sussex/Kent outbound and apparently returned over central southern England being noted over the Fairford area! Unfortunately for us enthusiasts, none of their movements appear on the tracking sites, however people have heard comms on London Mil south ICF

Hope this info is of use, cheers
