Lived in Harpenden in 70s, where are those original HS125s, Gulf 2s and 1-11s now?
Back then the place was still called a Village but clearly a town. Now it is prime commuter belt thanks to trains & roads to London and of course a well connected airport for those young people to dash for the sun & european cities every other weekend. Personally found the heaves out of LHR to be more of a nuisance!
but of course I did not live in Hatching Green.
