In reply to the OPs title question, I would have to say Hiller is nothing Stanley Hiller would recognize or approve of. Perhaps they need the 50 bucks now and then to keep spares in stock. I hope the guy who threw on the headlock wasn't their customer service rep. Sounds like they were just a hair away from pulling out a hog leg and firing bullets at the drivers feet saying " you better pay up or dance, pardner".
