I’m sure one of the regulars who knows much more than I do about this will be along shortly to put us right. However, I was under the impression that the sort of interpolation/abstraction which might appear sensible on the surface (there is a non-approved app for stopping distance on my current type, I think using the same methods as described above to produce a result) is not deemed appropriate by the authorities as the published data can only be used “as is”, or with strict linear interpolation when allowed.
