It's not a check ride for an endorsement, it's a check ride as part of the interview process. I'd be surprised if they let new folks on a C208B for an interview but hey, nothing surprises me in this industry any more.
All they'll be looking for is that you're not a muppet, you can fly an aircraft and that you do have a learning curve. They aren't looking for perfection, just competent with training ability.
