PR if you’ve been continuously absent from HK for a period of three years or more. However, if you lose
PR you still retain the right to land. It’s virtually the same thing except that you can be deported if you’re convicted of a crime that’s punishable by two years or more imprisonment, you can’t vote or stand for election, and a few other minor differences.
