First, thanks for all the replies.
I admit I hadn't considered "Flight's" cutaways, excellent though they were. There again, I always used to read Flight starting at the back...
However, taking your advice, I did a search and found another outlet with the same name. This did provide a cutaway which has helped as it appears the wing/fuselage join is a box section and it's the integrity of this join which is of particular interest to me.
That said, any more suggestions that emerge will be welcome in order to gain as much information as possible.
