I call bull****, I doubt any pilot would have written that statement and I also can’t believe a pilot could be so up themselves.
Why can't you believe it. It's rare to find a pilot not so up themselves. That's why they need to be called hero's whenever they do their job. Most people just go to work and do the job and get paid. An AIr traffic controller prevents hundreds of crashes every shift but doesn't need the hero worship. Maintenance engineers identify and rectify faults that will cause crashes and so saving many aircraft, but they don't need to stroke their ego.. just doing the job they are paid for.
