Not on the 135 Flying Bull. The manual mode switch freezes the affected engine stepper motor. The pilot then varies the power with the collective mounted throttle. The same as the legacy aircraft but the switch has moved from the overhead panel to the Engine Control Panel. There is no ‘Ultimate Back-up’ mode like the 145.
