Expanding foam - the stuff you use to fill minor gaps around window and door frames etc. Apply just a tiny blob inside the toe cap area of each piece of unattended footwear, and I mean just a tiny blob. Not a prank per se, so couldn’t be repeated, but I once went into the garage and put on my wellies, only to discover I’d put my foot into an active nest of mice.
