ea200 is correct. RNAS/RAF Bembridge it is. Closed in 1919. Hotel was The Royal Spithead Hotel demolished 1989. The 'Chippy' is part of a complex in Shanklin IOW . It was originally The Summer Theatre constructed from the Air Station Flight Shed and Hangars in 1921.
Now a Car Park.
What strikes me about the images is how much more cared for, and dare I say ordered, the old Bembridge looks. Here is a rather sad link with some nostalgic snaps - rather small I fear .....
