I just heard Alan Joyce runs Alliance and has over all control of the day to day running of the company because you know, THEY ARE QANTAS!!! Also the QF skygods are first choice because he says so and Alliance pilots could do with the help. He also determines who flies what and that QF staff will re-train Alliance staff due to superior skill and ability..
