likely nothing to do with passenger entertainment. The 777-300 has nose wheel camera and a camera at the top of the fin. Both viewable in the flightdeck on the MFD screens. Both are to aid with taxying the airplane but i always found them a distraction. The tail fin one is useful if you need to do a 180 on the runway to see where the main wheels are in relation to the edge.
The nose wheel camera is behind the Nose gear.
There are 2 cameras located, one on each horizontal stabiliser, Not the vertical fin. Three pictures on the selected display. Always useful on narrow taxiways and doing 180's.
