It seems the MCC/JOC is the norm again. Both Ryanair and Lauda accept applicants that have done the standard MCC/JOC, as opposed to the much hyped (and Ryanair marketed) APSMCC.
By doing this they admit the APSMCC is

as anyone who can pay for the TR is being considered.
