I don't have a horse in the race and have very little time for Rex's antics but to 'protect' slots that were held by a now defunct airline is more than questionable. And as there would appear to be the remotest possibility that they could be used by Tiger's former owners, it's even more questionable. It would be very interesting to know the rationale, if any, of Airport Co-ordination Australia - transparency goes a long way.
