Don't need P-8s to spot some of the other stuff around. I continue to be amazed that LPG-powered tankers such as "Lomonosov Prospect" can turn up in the Clyde Estuary apparently en route to Finnart near Faslane, and then hang about near Prestwick for several days, saw one recently.
https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels...MMSI-636018688 shows her today going back to Murmansk after apparently arriving from Ningbo in China. I wouldn't have thought China or Russia would need oil imports from the UK, or that the UK North Sea industry needs much top-up from either country.
