It's a Freezer Fish Carrier, built in East Germany in the 1970's "Karl Liebknecht" type. The Soviets had over a dozen of them. They'd collect the catch from the long-range fishing fleets and take it back to Russia. That saved the trawlers going back, so they could stay on task longer.
