There have been 909 deaths in Australia from covid-19 as of todays date, so if there were 33 per million cases as you state, that would imply Australia had approx 27.5 million cases of covid-19 - that every single person in Australia had been infected, which is clearly not the case. There have been 909 deaths and 28504 cases as of today, giving a death rate of 3.18% of confirmed infections. Entirely different to your statement, which is off by a factor of around 100,000.
The only alteration I would change in your paragraph is, with covid-19 not from covid-19.
