This is from a school in Malta. Ignore the location and look at the flying training involved to convert. All EASA member states will have almost identical criteria for conversation.
  • Pass an EASA Medical examination. We will help you organize this in Malta upon your arrival.
  • Complete the ATPL theoretical knowledge course and pass the 14 ATPL theoretical examinations. We will assist you in the preparation for these examinations through our distance learning
  • Web based training course. You are in fact able to commence with this training immediately. Details attached.
  • Complete training as required to pass a Radio Telephony practical examination in English and an English Language Proficiency test in Malta.
  • Complete training as required to ensure competency in night flying.
  • Complete 6 hours of Multi Engine flight training and 7 hours of ground training relating to the Multi Engine Piston Class Rating.
  • Complete at least 8 hours of flight training on the P2006T multi engine aircraft in preparation for your Commercial Pilot Licence skill test.
  • Complete at least 15 hours of IFR flight training on the P2006T aircraft in preparation for your Instrument Rating skill test.
On evaluation of your logbook and after an initial training flight, we can recommend a reduction in hours, but the final decision remains with CAD. Attached an indication of the costs.
