I think it is a bit more complex than that!!!. .Given the generally tolerant nature of the British/Irish we should perhaps categorise those 491 as the the tip of an iceberg.. .. .If you watch that on-going TV saga with Easyjet (Airline) there are seemingly bitter disagreements at check-in in almost every programme (I know it will be edited to improve the entertainment value!!)and yet hardly any of them seem to make an official complaint. We may grumble/complain about plenty of things but not many of us are sufficiently motivated to "report" it. . .. .Anyway, it may well be that there are many other complaints lodged with UK based agencies-- local trading standards, CAA/ATOL, even BBC Watchdog!! I have certainly never heard of the "Irish consumer watchdog The European Consumers Centre". Logically, if I was upset about a flight they (The European Consumers Centre) would not be at the top of my list of who to speak to.. .. .And really Belgian Sadness, do you really think such a thread is going to develop into anything but a pro/anti no-frills diatribe!!!!. . . .. .(My Doctor has told me to avoid threads about FR-Doh!!)
