Just when everyone is a little upbeat about the Vaccine and travel firms are expecting holidays to resume in summer 2021 we hear this from the first minister of Scotland. Scots advised not to book any holidays. It's a joke how the hell does she know where we will be in 2021. Scotland is becoming a dictatorship, maybe its time to change the Saltire from Blue to RED.
I can’t stand the woman but those holidays will still be there to book in the spring for the summer when things are clearer. As she has pointed out many of the new cases can be traced to imported strains brought back by Scots. Also compliance to the rules are breaking down nationwide with more and more people ignoring them, which will lead to a new surge in cases next year. As a few have already stated here some have no intention of having the vaccine. If that view is widespread the virus will still be here in the summer in enough numbers to keep hospitals busy and keep air travel subdued.
