Therein lies the issue. Sufferers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder do not for one second believe they have an issue. The whole basis of the problem is that they are right in all things, and others who don’t get this are just plain wrong. That’s what makes it very tough to treat. An alcoholic for example will - usually - eventually see they have a problem, they’ll acknowledge that and seek help. NPD people will never see that.
