While CAsA actively discourages pilots and owners from touching aircraft, except for Sched 8, getting yr hands dirty with Annuals and etc means one has a tad more insight into the workings. Could be handy one day.,,, and might even change the outcome of an inflight event.
Two things with flying.I found.....Know thy wx, and know the aircrarft...intimately. And if you look after it, it will look after you.
So just a question on that subject...
Sched 7 is clear about what you can't do, 8 says what you can. What about everything in between?
