In this case with a few tens of thousand views YouTube would have paid them around fifty bucks. If the content were questionable (I believe they did object to political use in a recent high profile political contest) U2 might go after punitive damages. But nice shots of the northern lights backed by them seems unlikely to be a problem. Still it is a valid point made by Cattletruck and an interesting site highlighted by Wycombe. Missionary Bush Pilot is the channel I referred to earlier. The avionics and performance are rather similar between his Kodiaq and the Cirrus SR22T, but not obviously the engine management. So other than the scenery that is probably what got my attention.
