The BMAA and LAA no doubt received the 'information' from a statement the Boy Wonder Shapps made to the APPG/GA, subsequently posted on a Farsebook site.

However, it is NOT yet government policy. Johnson is going to have a tough time today and when the ACTUAL policy eventually appears on the gov.uk website the CAA will link to it via a SkyWise announcement.

CAA priority is, understandably, for professional pilots - particularly those who haven't been able to travel to fly an LPC in a simulator in another MS.
