Just for clarification- we verify the MAP is properly loaded, we just don't brief it, because we know we're not doing it. It felt a little odd at first, but I like it. The powers that be decided to overhaul the briefs. They've moved away from the traditional one size fits all approach (brief everything) to a more TEM-based model, where we focus on the stuff that's important for the approach at hand. It keeps the approach brief concise (15-30 seconds).
