But both it and the ATL2 are still variants of a type that has a 60-odd year history, which was my point.
The Boeing 737 first flew in 1967 and today the RAF received it's third P-8A Poseidon which is a variant of the type from 53 years ago. If the RAF P-8As are retired, in say 2050, then that will be 83 years since the 1st flight of the 737 !!
