That’s my point - if they have European fleets with EJU there is no ‘Brexit’ requirement to set up European bases - it must just be for commercial/operational reasons. Jet2 do something similar that also helps them recover their programme more quickly if they have tech issues in that part of the world/Canaries, avoiding the EC261 compensation etc if they keep delays under 3 hours.
