You do realise easyjet Europe (OE a/c) and easyjet Switzerland (HB a/c) make up more than half all easy aircraft.
These new bases and aircraft and jobs are
going to easy Europe, they won't necessarily be for flights to UK due to the complexities of Brexit.
Boris Johnson deadline is 7 days time and we still don't know what's happening.
I'd say that was possibly a relevant factor in their decision.
Many of us don't understand the relevance of Brexit. It's a shambles! That aside, if these new bases are going to be easyJet Europe, why are so many aircraft being re-transferred from the OE- register to G- ?? One would have expected it to be the other way. There must be significant cuts within EJU elsewhere to account for these transfers. It would suggest that within a smaller EJU fleet there will still be spare capacity for these new bases..
