Since when is there no bearing and damper in a R22 tail rotor driveshaft?
As distinct from, say, a B47 or a B206, which has multiple hangar bearings and driveshaft segments, I see from the parts cattle-dog that the R22 has only one damper close to the front, and the rest of the shaft to the tail rotor gearbox is able to wobble to a fair extent.

I say this with the uncertainty that comes with time, first flew those things in 1988 and the memory may have faded a little, and I don't recall seeing such an item as the damper back then...
