You guys are not the first to be made redundant. I have been 3 times.
This is also third time for me, but it is quantum different this time. In the past there were many many job opportunities in the aviation sector, wide wide body jet jobs all over the world. There are very very slim pickings now, and I fear it will be that way for at least a few years yet.
Still, for me, at any rate, it’s wonderful to be back in a civilised part of the world.
