No doubt Stansted and Luton will follow with a £5 charge then. I can remember the anger when Luton charged £1. At the moment it is £4, which is the same as Stansted.
STN already charge £5 for up to 10 mins drop-off with free parking for 30 mins in short-stay blue zone. LTN maybe cheaper currently on drop-off but the free option involves a shuttle ride. LGW's free option will also involve a shuttle but up to a rather generous 2 hours.
