I am sad to inform you that my father passed away peacefully on the 3rd March 2012 after a short time in hospital. He had been living in Barton near Bidford on Avon, UK for the last few years enjoying the food and drink from the local pub. He regularly regaled stories of his time with Cathay Pacific and friends in Hong Kong with great fondness. I was sorry to read about your fathers death. He taught me a great deal back in the day in CX with his usual good humour and expertise. As you can tell from this thread, he was part of CX history and will be sadly missed.
