The problem is caused by FR24 being linked to the Jetphotos website for their 'latest' photo of the aircraft that you've just clicked on. It works well for UK registered aircraft where registrations are not normally re-used, but it's not much good for US registered aircraft - especially biz jets, twins and light aircraft.
