CAP 413 covers R/T phraseology. Learn “the words of play” as if you were the “Actor on the stage”.
Be fluent on the ground ASAP, and this will then free up capacity in the air, improve workload management and situational awareness.

Start with the VFR flights from taxi out, departure, XCTY element, VFR arrival, taxi in.

Emergency calls on VFR flights.

Start looking at the long briefs on some of the pre circuit exercises:
Straight & Level; Climbing; Descending; Turns.
