AirlineRoute is not confirmation - the account is not an official spokesperson for new routes - just a blogger with a website. There is no difference from other people announcing the exact same (as I and others did) based on British Airways taking flights off their website (all public). Official confirmation is when it comes from British Airways directly - everybody else's "confirmation" is just repeating what the airline has said or done.
For instance, I got my information from the British Airways website - is this any less "confirmation"?
