The View Sonic has nowt but a slim line of lights in a moulding on the bottom edge. Putting one's hand near a light should get a reaction from that light but it's as dead as a do-do. Well, the strip is, the screen lights, just.

I spent ages searching for parts. I'll look at your link, thanks, but first glance it was a bit circular.

VX2880ML Model number VS15802. The picture looked quite good in the garage, but a bit rubbish. Don't know what that green thing is behind.

I've just realised I have no recollection of when or where I did the work on it. Time has turned into a blur. I also don't know where the power unit is. That'll bring things to a halt if it's gone. There is no power switch on the telly. So, no reset method of a kick-start.

The sheer horror of being able to run through 60 - 70 year old conversations, but not remember when I worked on this.
