From what I can see, the main benefits of having a Belgian theory test is that you can take the exam in English, and it’s a much lower price. Doing your medical there is less relevant, but it seems mandatory if that’s where you do your theory.

I believe as well that Belgium doesn’t have the radiotelephony endorsement, which is included in the PPL.
