EchoKilla, they should attract customers somehow. Marketing plays a major role in persuading those millions of passengers to connect via Dubai. Theres no point in keeping "the most important staff" when no one is buying the tickets...Those "useless" grades 9s and 10s (in your opinion) make much more complicated decisions than to carry extra fuel or not. Every job is important in its own way. But to think that airline is only run by pilots is somewhat delusional...
