The term "Stick to your knitting" is the one that comes to mind here.
Airline industry is littered with tales of Airline bosses deciding because "we fly passengers" then we can easily diversify into something else, like freight / holidays / food service / etc etc.. Amazing how many times the end result is something different from the one planned and the accountants end up writing a bit fat check.
Appreciate that point of view but there are also many examples of airlines that have done that successfully. I can’t think of a LCC that has but why not be a pioneer as long as you are aware of the risks......it could prove to be another valuable income stream esp in the current climate when pax travel is looking so uncertain.
