My interview was nothing technical and all personal. They want to know about you and you can ask them anything you want.
I think the housing allowance (reviewed once per year) is $1100.
I don't think that will cover living alone in a 3 bedroom especially living in downtown TPE which some believe is an expensive city. It all depends on what you are used to.
I am told you can live out in the suburbs much cheaper,but there is far less to do. Most expats do NOT have their families here.
