POF is a subject you need to know, you can't wing it.

Q1. In an expansion wave the temp will decrease ( so use your wizz wheel to work out what will happen to LSS.

Q2. L/D ratio is 12/1 ( I think you will find the A/C wt was 50 metric tonnes) so drag is 500,000Kgs.

500.000 / 12 = 41.667

Total trust is 60.000 x 2 engines = 120.000

120.000 - 41.667 = 78.333 / sin gamma.

sin gamma = opposite / hypottenuse.

78.333 / 500.000 x 100 = 15.67 % Grad.

This question is one that is on the CAA website, i don't know which school you are with but they should have made you aware of it. You could try having a look at this site www.bristol.gs/forum.htm and go to Pof.

As said you really need to know this subject.

Hope that helps.
