Without fear of being mistaken, I'll tell you that unless you have some very unique skills, you have a fat chance of getting a work permit. Jetsgo got some permits for some American Airlines MD-80 series captains (temporary contract)-- I think for a 6 month term, but I don't think you fall in this boat and this isn't what you want to know.
