Apparently the "black list" of those who "are not a good cultural fit for the company", as it was diplomatically worded, is a real thing. Once again, don't forget that the labour legislation of most Eastern European countries is not of the same high standards as in Germany, France or most other Western European and Scandinavian countries. You can be dismissed or refused the opportunity to be re-hired with an argument as simple as "I don't like you" - and there's hardly anything you can do about it.
