For those who use the ipad as an electronic flight bag (EFB)
What model ipad are you using?
Have you found better luck obtaining and retaining a GPS signal in landscape or portrait view?
If you have found a certain orientation better for GPS reception, was that orientation your already preferred orientation for the IPAD or do you sacrifice your preferred orientation because of GPS reception?
Does your airline have any written recommendations about ipad gps reception?
Does anybody know how much does a cockpit window interferes with GPS reception? Are some airplanes better or worse?
Does anybody know if orientation should have any effect on GPS signal reception?
Is any carrier connecting their EFB (Ipad or other) to the aircraft GPS via Bluetooth or some other method?
