1.Did you visit the ATO before deciding to train at the establishment?

2. If yes, did you speak to the staff and more importantly the customers training?
Your items 1 to 5 will have been revealed on a site visit?

3. How many customers left when you did?

4. Read your contract and consider asking a lawyer what your prospects are to recover money which might be due to you.
Group action ~ item 3 if sufficient in numbers.

A trap for young players.........junior birdmen must remember three important aspects of life (not confined to aviation) before entering into any contractual agreement.

1. Do not sign unless you want to be legally bound
2. Caveat Emptor
3. Due diligence

In fairness, the ATO has a right to reply; without it, a very one sided view occurs, which might be far from the whole story.

edit: Sabadell Airport is in a built up area; an engine failure shortly after take-off might prove to be somewhat challenging.
