Funny you should mention Arizona, as I read somewhere in light of the U-2 shootdown and FGP hauled off to the likes of Lubyanka for interrogation. His interrogators showed him a map and asked him where the ‚Ranch‘ or Area 51 / Groom Lake is. As the story goes, he marked the spot as the interrogators no idea of USA geography and mistakenly showed him a map of Arizona state.
